The Annual Alumni Board Meeting will be held on Saturday September 7th at 7:30 – 8:30 am prior to the Alumni Dedication Event. As the CU-Nebraska football game kickoff is 1:30 pm, we need to start the alumni event at 8:45 am to have enough time for all the agenda items. Thus, the early start time for the board meeting.
An hour for our meeting should be sufficient as last year we needed to address multiple organizational issues due to the formation of the Alumni Advisory Board. This year’s agenda will be abbreviated compared to last year. We must cover standard agenda items such as verification of a quorum, approval of last year’s meeting minutes and election of House Corporation and Advisory Board officers. We will also introduce the 2018-2019 Chapter Executive Board toward the end of the meeting.
Other potential agenda items include new security system, financial update, LEAD program engagement, need for a legal adviser to review chapter contracts (the chapter lost their deposit for the spring formal with no recourse) and the 2020 Grand Chapter in Denver. Let me know if you have any additional items for consideration. These items can be alumni only or require both the alumni and chapter boards.
